Mercedes awarded Gold in the Sapo Awards 2015
The SAPO, the leading internet portal in Portugal and that owns the AUTO SAPO, distinguished what is best in Digital Marketing area.
The SAPO awarded the best that is made in Portugal in 2015 in Digital Marketing area. The contest were 444 advertising campaigns and more than 30 agencies, selected by a jury of five professionals of recognized media agencies and advertisers in the industry. The Mercedes was awarded.
Mercedes took first place in the category of “Digital Content Marketing” getting the gold trophy, the recognition of BeachCam project as the best made in Portugal platform of digital content a brand.
The BeachCam is a digital platform where the user can get access to over 20 HD cameras installed in the main beaches of Portugal and is used by those who have an active lifestyle and facing the sea, but above all, we call as one of the Mercedes DNA elements – “Modern Luxury”.
Mercedes innovated to develop specific content for video and image and adding more value to this platform, with weather stations that provide real-time weather conditions on site.
With this award, Mercedes away from the image of austere brand and is becoming increasingly an innovative brand image, young and open to new challenges. These are recognitions that make Mercedes IUMA of the most desired brands in Portugal. Jorge Aguiar, the Mercedes and Filipe Neves, the Fuel @ VivaKi, received the award from the SAPO.
